Dr. Buff Coe has been pastor of VUMC since October of 2000. He has been a United Methodist Pastor since 1977. Previous pastoral appointments include churches in Dryden, Redford, and Hastings, Michigan and in Brockton, Massachusetts. Prior to entering pastoral ministry, he served as organist and choir director at several churches of various denominations.  He has degrees from Michigan State University, Boston University, and the Methodist Theological School in Ohio.  His writings have been published in a variety of professional and scholarly journals and he has been a adjunct assistant professor at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio.  Buff and his wife, Lisa, have 4 children and 1 granddaughter and 1 grandson.
