Caring Ministries

We believe God is calling us to take greater care of our church Family.

The word “caring” defines our ministry.

Kindness and concern for others • Giving emotional support • Being helpful and sympathetic to all • Looking after those unable to care for themselves because of sickness or aging.

The Member Care Team has meetings every other month at 1:00 in the Library on the first Wednesday of the month. All are welcome to these meetings. If you have the gift of giving, we would love to know this in our planning of the following events.

We strive to visit those who have lost loved ones. A visit and a rose is taken to them.

We follow up with a very nice set of grief booklets. One every 3 months for a year.

Shut ins can have a DVD of the service delivered to them weekly along with bulletin & prayer concerns.

Christmas and Easter time, we try to visit as many of our shut ins as possible.

Small plants/flowers are taken to them at this time. Cards are sent to those far away.

Prayer shawls are lovingly made and given to those struggling with health issues.

Organizing small group activities, dinners and events are planned.

We host the Welcome Center each Sunday to aid and assist those

with questions many brochures are available in regards to events at our church.

We also see that Coffee Hour is available before and after the church service.

This is a time to get acquainted with others.

We can organize meals for those church families having surgery or health issues.

We can organize rides to doctors, grocery etc. if needed.

We welcome you all to help with these many projects and are always open to new ideas
